WeekEND

Three young siblings spend a weekend at their grandmother’s house, enjoying time filled with games, baking, and laughter under her watchful eye. She promises more fun the next day and tucks them in at night with a story about her childhood. The following morning, they wake up eager for the day, but find their grandmother in an unexpected state. As they attempt to rouse her with small acts of care, the house remains unusually still. They distract themselves with playful antics, weaving stories, creating imaginary worlds, and embracing fleeting moments of joy. The outside world tries to intrude, but the children keep their secret, offering only carefully crafted distractions to maintain the illusion of normalcy. As the reality of their grandmother’s condition becomes unavoidable, the children grapple with their limited understanding of the situation, mixing moments of concern with childish play and attempts at independence.
